I had an interesting Phone relationship with VB =circa 2006 when i was trying to put a deal together with RYKODISC. My idea was to do a boxset consisting of VB's original Bunker tapes transferred to CD with a book and photos etc. Rykodisc went cold for no reason very suddenly and VB was righteously pissed off. but he was an interestign and amusing character and my admiration for that book and his talent remains...

I think Mr Bockris is a little unduly harsh on Mr Morgan. I don't see what on earth is so awful about being squemish about night long drug parties or wahtever; it's simply not everyones cup of tea (thank God; I would'nt want my mother or the Prime Minister to get into it, for example. If Mr Morgan takes one (supposedly)extreme/squemish view on Burrough's drug use then Mr Bockris takes the other extreme view, and between their opinions and the more important evidence laid out in by the books themselves I have long concluded that drugs perhaps played a sometimes useful part in Burrough's writing yet also messed a lot of it up.
