I’m with Demi, endorsing and applauding the time and energy devoted to the project.

Davis Schneiderman is so articulate and so coherent with his responses to Dave’s questions, mental salivation has become initiated in my consciousness.

For me, the publication will be one of the best things to happen in the book world during this phase of the 21st century.

Burroughs is interesting because he really thought about language, and is not operating blind but in a very detached, if obsessive way with the Virus.

Do not quite understand why the LACMA version was not simply published as it exists with supplementary imaginings issued in a companion volume. Remember Williams great pleasure seeing it at the LACMA show and I told him then how much I hoped it would “now” be published. Why it has taken so long is beyond my ken.

Is meaning ever outside the reader? Well of course it is, and/or isn’t, paradoxically. I read a great deal of Burroughs before getting to the (larger) bio, and it (the work) is still the more intriguing part of the whole story/myth, which is now kinda indissoluble..
