The last line is not capitalized in Tornado Alley. The capitalization in "Thanksgiving Day" is as it appears here on RealityStudio. I just compared it to the book to be sure.

Hi could someone tell me the capitalization of the last line of “Thanksgiving Day November 28 1986” as it appears in print? For example, is “Thanks” capitalized in “Tornado Alley@? Thank you

Foreign editions: On the slightly nutty side of my own humble collection are some French language editions - the University library where I studied French had the original Job (entretiens), which was a great resource and aid in my third year! some decades ago now.. I acquired it subsequently (from Ken Lopez), along with the original Third Mind (oeuvre croisee, from Third Mind books no less!).. I love the Breughel cover on the French Wild Boys, (echoing the original Cities cover) which I also had to have, along with a recent cheap Naked Lunch and a few others (e.g issue 66 of Tel Quel with a preview chapter from Cities).. It is an odd feeling reading Burroughs in french when the passages in question are already very familiar.. thanks to you again Jed for another absorbing not to say entertaining chapter..

Jed - just send it all down to me I will take on your burden. Great article on an obviously great collector. I grasp the image game but there are physical objects that do not convey by image alone. The recent Gysin/Gette PERMUTATIONS comes to mind. The perfection of the fit of the slipcase, the weight of the object itself. Or MY OWN MAG without the palpable smell of the urinal? Do the colors really convey in an image of a page of the Olympia soft machine? Farfelu.
