From my recollection of doing a mimeo mag in late sixties/early 70s, one would always run off a bunch of pages more than the "official" 200 or 300 copies. To this day I must 25 to 40 extra unbound, unstapled assemblages of the first issue of my magazine "Sixpack."ver the years I've managed to put together a few copies for friends who asked me for one. I'm sure that Sanders must have done the same.
Darn it all Jim, you's right, all them swashbucklers — you included — should have a prize on our heads...

Has Sanders 'fessed up yet? As you say, Jed in "Mimeo Mimeo" "....For all the talk about the speed of mimeo, it was really a big pain in the ass, especially if the demand was for a single issue. " I doubt he reprinted any copies, but I bet he ran extras, especially if it appears he shifted his whole 300 print run in two goes - leaving him with the extras for his own shop. I like the forensics of comparing staples and the different coloured card for the cover is an obvious clue to extra copies, though not necessarily run at a different time. Honestly, these mimeo swashbucklers should have bounties on their heads - stumped up by the wretched bibliographers that they are confusing. btw: I have often heard of the number of times Bob Cobbing, at Writers Forum, would run a few extra Ginsbergs off. He could do this relatively easily because for the Ginsbergs he used a litho mimeo and not a stencil mimeo. Sanders ran a stencil mimeo.
