When I was putting together the M&M bibliography I asked Bill about Ex 3. He couldn’t really remember much about it, but thought that what happened was that Jeff Nuttall sent him a bunch of copies of The Burrough in Tangier and he gave most of them to ‘some guy who was sending out stuff in a folder like Alex’s Project Sigma.’ [Trocchi] This would have been 1964 as Bill was not in Tangier during 1965. Clearly what is needed is for a Burroughs scholar to compare the Burrough in Ex 3 with the Burrough in MOM (I agree that the numbering of MOM was all wrong in M&M.), and see if it was printed on Jeff’s school mimeo machine or re-set.
