Someone once told me that Dahmer could exhibit a dry sense of humor at times. They claimed that when he was in prison, he once posted an announcement on the bulletin board that was an announcement of a scheduled "support group for cannibals."

I read the book his father wrote. It was actually a quality book. While written within a Christian paradigm, it seemed to be a genuine and honest attempt to think through the mystery of how Dahmer ended up being such an outlier. The earliest indication seemed to be a morbid fascination with dead animals.

picked this one up last week. I was surprised at how sensitive it is to the pre-murderer Dahmer. An insightful portrait of high school alienation on par with Ham on Rye.
