Is that Elizabeth Taylor, or some lookalike on the cover? It's certainly not representative of the material in the book anyway! I wonder idly if Taylor ever read that book and, if she did, what she thought of it. Probably would have scared the shit out of her.

Funny how simliar the title of that Ballard bio - 'The Inner Man: The Life of J.G. Ballard' - is to 'William S Burroughs: A Man Within.'

it sure as hell looks like her...at least thematically it has something to do with the book, unlike the rather salacious Panther edition ive fondled for years...harumph.
