I must admit, sometimes Hitchens' obsessive anti-religious attacks get kind of tiresome. Linking Gibson's rants to Catholicism seems somewhat spurious to me - he's a bipolar alcoholic asshole. What more do you need? Why throw Jesus into the mix?

Our politically correct society has is moral priorities completely askew and backwards.

If you make unpleasant remarks about or towards a "minority," you can kiss your reputation goodbye. If you fill the pages of our newspapers and load our airwaves with hate-filled, Goebbels-style propaganda directed towards the official enemy of the month (usually some hapless third world country), you're a respected journalist.
