New issue of Xochi23 is out.
Xochi23 vol 3 contains an interview with Carl Weissner conducted by Theo Green in 1984. It is very wide ranging where Carl touches on everything 'small presses' to his first contacts with Burroughs and Bukowski. This edition also includes an excerpt from Stephen Davis' 'To Marrakech by Aeroplane', new fiction by Jurgen Ploog and Jack Sergeant (author of Naked Lens-Beat Cinema) exploring the cultural shifts produced by Fifty Years of Naked Lunch. There is also an interview with German saxophone legend, Peter Brotzmann and a piece detailing the boxing bout between the poet Arthur Cravan and Jack Johnson (the first black heavyweight champion of the world).
