I just read the catalogue to this exhibit. It's pretty decent. Highlights include an interesting interview with Barry Miles, an authoritative overview by Miles of how Burroughs used the cut-up over the years, and an interview with Burroughs by Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) that I don't think has been published before. It was a phone interview that took place not long before Burroughs died and concerns his time in Morocco. It's not particularly revelatory but it's always good to see something new turn up.

Many of the reproductions in the catalogue are too small to be of much use, but there are some things I hadn't seen before. For example, there's a cool page of Dead Fingers Talk manuscript from the Burroughs archive at the NYPL. It's got a dozen or so bits of text pasted onto a page. Some are from printed books, some are typewritten, and there's a handwritten annotation too. It gives you a good sense of how the book was pulled together from various sources.
